thats right. In case you didn't know it, I am INSANE. I took it easy today....packed, double checked, re-packed etc etc. It was nice to know I had finished everything in full...
so then Conan and I decide to do a few dry runs of our act....and I decide to put on the top portions of my costume to practice in (I needed to see how restricted my movements were)

I discovered I was VERY unsatisfied with the velcro pieces I spent the better part of 3 days sewing on by hand to fasten the back of the shirt.
So much so, that I ripped them all out tonight, took in the hemming, and then put on a zipper (good thing I had extras!) the stupid zipper is one of the annoying ones that doesn't come open completely at the bottom...
but its SOOOOO much better. I can move my arms without having to worry about ripping the velcro open (when we were practicing, I kept hearing them rip open when I would dance) and I just couldn't have that!!
Dave was trying to save me from my insane-ness/panic attack by telling me I could leave it as is (ie: not risk throwing months worth of work down the drain the day before the con) and then modify it before the next few cons (I will wear it to every con until next SFX) but yeah...
I am just crazy.
So I did it. I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much happier.
The only thing I am worried about now, is the wig. I mean, technically I have two, so if the first goes wonky, I still have the second, but I hope that the first one won't go wonky. I want it to stay perfect....
now I am worried. Jeeze, I stress myself the fuck out.
Now I need to repack up/re-organize everything...and clean up all the new lose threads on my costume.
Tomorrow I have lots of errands to do. Set up of the dealers table is going to be at 1 pm (so technically I could of had people over to work) Stupid dealer didn't communicate times, so Conan was guessing based on when he had to help last year.
I had to use 4" thick foam (or bigger) cause I couldn't find my thin stuff....and I can't find my good exactos, so I was using a safety blade from work (when not cutting boxes, they aren't so fucking safe!) and yeah...

At least the blood didn't stain any of the costume, and I have the bleeding under control.
Deep enough to be a big pain in the ass, but too shallow for fucking stitches. FUCK!
too many tourists there, it was chaos! nearly got knocked off by pushy rude french fuckers (from quebec no less) but really, it was scary! best part was the Mayan village....

Well anyways, a long while ago...it froze, and I lost my "server". Since then, I haven't been able to connect, and its been driving me nuts!! So today I decide to update my newsbin (I was running version like, 4) to the newest...
I re-entered my server info...and crossed my fingers...
and it WORKED!! It fucking worked!!! I might have to pay for the new Newsbin ($35) but its a small loss! The person who set me up with this program was Adam (aka old boyfriend) and he hasn't been willing to help me try and figure it all out, but fuck him, I did it on my own! (heiko offered to help me, but I never bothered to follow up on it yet!)
After MONTHS of frustration....EEEEEEEEE! I'm so fucking proud of myself right now

Well last night was good, it was bad, it was everything all rolled into one!
I hung out with Tessa for a bit before the Beefcake Cheesecake...we got ready together in her room (and most importantly- SHOWERED!) (Hico Too, when Tess and I weren't changing of course!)

What an awfull end to what was a wonderfull evening. THe worst part is that I didn't even get to speak with someone whome I had wanted too, but really I don't know what to do or how to deal with it (and no suggestions needed, cause I am just venting)
I'm just sad it went down like that (moreso for the other person whom was hurt then me) So yeah, the evening was a complete success and a huge disaster all at once.

I have to do alot of homework this week before school....need to render 8 designs for a brochure holder (LOL, I am using the Girl Guides as my Non-profit organization) and th en I need to take my best 2 and render them in full colour/mount them
Its funny cause its totally easier for me to build them then to draw them in isometric!! I already designed one, then I copied two from the LCBO (I made paper patterns from them)
I want to use one of the two from the LCBO, of course, I would have to mofify it alot ^^ Anyways....I feel just all around icky and *soooooooooo* tired.
I booked my appointment to get my 5th wisdom tooth pulled out....going to go next week during reading week.
Oh yeah, and I guess I'll have to go shopping this week-weekend....I'll have to wait untill after V-day if I want to try and find a corset/boustier for really cheap....I won't be able to wait *too* long, cause I need to hit up the fabric store to buy alot of red matieral for the rest of the costume!

Yesterday at work, this dude took out the front doors to the mall!!!
I felt so bad for the old dude, he backed up too fast and smashed his car thru almost half the front entrance of the mall infront of my LCBO!!
It was sooooo loud when he hit! Not to mention, it shook the whole store! O_o
I had never seen anything like this before, just holy shit~!!! His wife was standing *right* where he backed into...thankfully she got out of the way, just HOLY FUCK~!!

I went to pick him up at like 11:45, I am just soooo proud of him doing the right thing (he is all embarassed to ask for a ride, where I would rather help him, then have him drink and drive! OI)
